Customer service was never the main complaint, but it was the second complaint in seven reviews: a reviewer with a delivery or payment problem who then said they could not get it fixed. Reviewers described agents who escalated the case again and again, and no phone line.

Tickets that did not arrive

Late or missing tickets were the main complaint in nine of the 60. A Trustpilot reviewer wrote, “I paid over $400 for tickets and never received them from the seller!” Other reviewers said tickets were still missing hours before the event, or that tickets went to an old email address.

One reviewer said they bought a parking pass and was unable to use it because it had to be printed.

If your tickets have not shown up in your account a day before the event, contact support then. Keep screenshots of the listing and your order, and check that the email on your account is the one you use now.

Seats that did not match the listing

Three of the 60 reviews said the seats were not what the reviewer expected. Two were about standing-room tickets. A Trustpilot reviewer who bought tickets for a Seahawks game wrote, “there was no indication or statement saying the seats were standing only.” Another said they bought standing-room tickets by mistake because the listing did not make it clear, while other listings at the same stadium did. The third called the seat description deceptive.

The same week, a five-star reviewer praised SeatGeek’s seat view: “See the actual seats, not just the highlighted row!”

Standing room turns up on other resale sites too. When we opened Gametime listings for two Cowboys home games on Oct. 8, the cheapest listing at both was standing room (see our Gametime vs Vivid Seats comparison). Before you pay, read the listing notes for “standing room,” “SRO” or “general admission” and confirm a row and seat number.

Charged twice

Four of the 60 reviews were account or payment problems, and three reviewers said they were charged twice. One said a first attempt was declined, a second order went through and both were charged. Another said one set of tickets was charged twice, and a third said parking was charged twice.

A Trustpilot reviewer wrote, “I was charged twice for my tickets.” The reviewer added that two weeks of online chat had not fixed it. The fourth review in this group came from a seller who said SeatGeek asked for a Social Security number before paying out.

If a payment fails at checkout, check your card statement before you try again. These were three reviews out of 60, not a measured rate.

What SeatGeek reviews say about fees

No review in the 60 named fees as the main complaint. One praised how SeatGeek shows them. A Trustpilot reviewer wrote that they liked seeing “the actual dollar amount including fees right from the get go so no confusion.”

No SeatGeek fee rate was confirmed on an official page. Our SeatGeek fees guide covers what SeatGeek says about its prices, and which ticket site has the lowest fees puts it next to the other sites.

SeatGeek app reviews

Store SeatGeek rating Ratings or reviews
US App Store 4.86 1,078,648 ratings (0.8% one-star)
Google Play (US) 4.5 45.2K reviews, 5M+ downloads

Source: US App Store listing and Google Play listing, recorded Oct. 8, 2026.

SeatGeek’s 0.8% one-star share on the App Store is the lowest of the five sites. All five rate between 4.66 and 4.86 there, where apps can ask users for a rating. App Store review text was not available to us, so it is not part of the complaint counts.

TicketScanner does not record SeatGeek prices, so we cannot say how often it is cheaper. For a price comparison of the two sites TicketScanner tracks, see Gametime vs Vivid Seats.

How we measured

> On Oct. 8, 2026, we recorded each site’s public rating and review count on Trustpilot, the US App Store and Google Play. We then read the 60 most recent English reviews on Trustpilot and sorted each one by its main complaint (delivery or transfer, refunds, fees at checkout, invalid tickets, customer service, app bugs, seat different from the listing, account or payment) or as positive. Sixty reviews cover only a few days, so they show what people are writing now, not the whole history. Reviews are the writers’ own claims, which we did not verify. App Store review text could not be retrieved, so it is not included.

Double charges and standing-room complaints were counted by reading every review in those two groups. Invited and uninvited counts use the source tag Trustpilot attaches to each review.

Data as of Oct. 8, 2026.
