How much are Super Bowl tickets? The short answer
Over the last five Super Bowls, the cheapest resale ticket on game day ranged from $2,803 in 2025 to $7,852 in 2024, according to TicketIQ’s get-in tracking. For Super Bowl LX in February 2026, the get-in price dropped from $5,840 on Championship Sunday to $3,773 on game day, while face values ran from $950 to $8,500.
Super Bowl LXI prices may continue to move as the matchup approaches, with the matchup set on Jan. 31, 2027, and past years show the market moving by thousands of dollars in the final two weeks.
Super Bowl ticket prices in 2026: what Super Bowl LX cost

Super Bowl ticket prices by year: five games of get-in data
TicketIQ publishes the Super Bowl get-in price (the cheapest listed ticket) for every day between Championship Sunday and Super Bowl Sunday. TicketIQ is itself a ticket marketplace, and its table does not state whether the get-in figures include fees.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| LX (Feb. 8, 2026, Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, Calif.) | $5,840 | $3,590 (Saturday before) | $3,773 | -35% |

Source: TicketIQ’s day-by-day Super Bowl get-in data, 2022 to 2026. Percentages are TicketScanner’s calculations from those figures.
All five games got cheaper between the conference title games and kickoff, but by very different amounts. Las Vegas in 2024 barely moved, while New Orleans in 2025 lost more than half its value. Before 2022 the pattern was less reliable: in 2020, TicketIQ’s get-in rose from $3,652 on Championship Sunday to $6,603 on game day.
When do Super Bowl ticket prices peak and dip?
Based on the same TicketIQ data, three patterns held from 2022 to 2026.
Prices peak early. In all five years, the highest get-in came on Championship Sunday or within five days of it. For Super Bowl LX, the peak was $6,416 three days after the conference title games.
The low usually comes late. In four of five years, the cheapest day fell in the final four days, counting game day. The exception was 2024, when the low of $7,089 came eight days out and prices then rose again (Yahoo Sports, citing TicketIQ, reported a $7,790 get-in on the Tuesday of game week).
Game day often bounces. In 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2026, the game-day get-in was higher than its earlier low. At SoFi Stadium in 2022, Boardroom’s SeatGeek tracking, which includes fees, showed $5,953 on Feb. 7, $3,658 the day before the game and $4,088 on game day. Only 2025 bottomed out on Sunday.
TicketIQ says the get-in has dropped an average of 12% between the two Sundays since it began tracking (21% excluding 2020). It says the best get-in buying window has usually been six to eight days after the conference championships, and that cheaper seats tend to rise as inventory thins late. From 2022 to 2026, though, the low came later than that in four of five years. For regular-season timing, see the best time to buy NFL tickets.
Super Bowl LXI tickets: date, stadium and how tickets are distributed
Super Bowl LXI will be played Sunday, Feb. 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. SoFi lists the kickoff time as TBA. NFL owners approved the site at the December 2023 league meeting, and it is SoFi’s second Super Bowl after LVI in 2022, when the Rams beat the Bengals in front of 70,048 fans. The 2026 playoffs run from the wild-card round (Jan. 16-18, 2027) to the conference championships on Jan. 31, two weeks before the game.
Super Bowl tickets are not released for sale to the general public, Ticketmaster says. For Super Bowl LX, CBS Sports reported this split:
- Each of the two teams in the game: 17.5%
- The host team: 5%
- Each of the other 29 teams: 1.2%
- The league office: 25.2%
The NFL requires teams to set aside at least 35% of their allotment for fans, and most run lotteries that let winners buy at face value. For Super Bowl LX, that meant only about 11,520 face-value tickets for fans, per CBS Sports.
The other paths:
- On Location, the NFL’s official hospitality provider, is “the only official source for Super Bowl LXI ticket and hospitality packages,” according to SoFi Stadium. On Sept. 14, 2026, the cheapest LXI package on its site, Touchdown Club (game ticket plus pregame hospitality), started at $7,650 per person. The Rams offered fans a refundable Priority Access deposit for front-of-line access to LXI packages.
- Resale: the NFL Ticket Exchange by Ticketmaster is the league’s official resale marketplace. On Sept. 14, 2026, TickPick listed the cheapest LXI ticket at $5,601 and the average at $13,753.52, more than four months before the teams are announced.
For how regular-season and playoff tickets are released, see when NFL tickets go on sale.
Why are Super Bowl tickets so expensive?
Supply is small and mostly spoken for. Super Bowl LX drew 70,823 fans, yet only about 11,520 face-value tickets were open to fans through team lotteries. The league office controls about 17,900 tickets and generally lets On Location handle roughly 10,000 of them, CBS Sports reported. Ticketmaster says tickets also go to partners, sponsors and the host committee.
Demand can accelerate once the matchup is set. The matchup is set just two weeks before kickoff (Jan. 25 to Feb. 8 last season), which, in our read, compresses travel and ticket-buying decisions for both fan bases into a short window.
The host city and the matchup swing the price. Las Vegas’ first Super Bowl in 2024 set records, with Front Office Sports pointing to the destination, the matchup and Allegiant Stadium’s smaller capacity; the crowd of 61,629 was the smallest unrestricted Super Bowl crowd on record. A year later in New Orleans, Field Level Media tied the slump to the city’s limited hotel capacity and “Chiefs fatigue.” More on the broader causes: why NFL tickets are so expensive.
How much are NFL playoff tickets? 2025-26 prices by round
Reported prices from the 2025-26 postseason (TicketScanner has no postseason data):
| Round | Game (date) | Reported cheapest ticket | As of, source | Fees |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wild-card | Rams at Panthers (Jan. 10, 2026) | $152-$178 | Jan. 9, WRAL | Before service fees and taxes |
| Wild-card | Packers at Bears (Jan. 10, 2026) | About $450 | Midweek (reported Jan. 7), TickPick via Chicago Sun-Times | Not stated |
| Divisional | Texans at Patriots (Jan. 18, 2026) | About $263-$267 | Jan. 17, Goal.com | Not stated |
| Divisional | Rams at Bears (Jan. 18, 2026) | $405 | Jan. 16, TickPick via Chicago Sun-Times | Not stated |
| Divisional | 49ers at Seahawks (Jan. 17, 2026) | $556 | Jan. 16, Mega Seats via Chicago Sun-Times | Not stated |
| Conference championship | Patriots at Broncos (Jan. 25, 2026) | $594 | Jan. 20, Gametime via Yahoo Sports | Includes fees |
| Conference championship | Rams at Seahawks (Jan. 25, 2026) | $888 | Jan. 20, TickPick via FOX 13 Seattle | Not stated |
Reported get-in ranges generally rose each round, though sources and dates differ. Rivalries jumped the line: Packers-Bears (about $450) was TickPick’s most expensive NFL wild-card game and topped two divisional games. Rams-Seahawks ($1,421 average purchase price) was the most expensive conference championship on record, according to TickPick. Even its $888 get-in was less than a quarter of Super Bowl LX’s.
What TicketScanner will track for Super Bowl LXI
TicketScanner lists Super Bowl LXI (SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, Calif., Feb. 14, 2027), but it has not recorded a get-in price for the game yet. Once the resale marketplaces it monitors list the game, TicketScanner will add its get-in price to its daily tracking, so you can compare it with the patterns above.
For scale, the median get-in for an upcoming 2026 regular-season NFL game is $118, according to TicketScanner’s Sept. 13, 2026 snapshot of the 211 games it tracks. TicketIQ’s Super Bowl LX game-day get-in of $3,773 was about 32 times that, though the two use different sources and fee treatment. For more on regular-season costs, see how much NFL tickets cost.
How TicketScanner measured this
TicketScanner records each tracked game’s get-in price (the cheapest listed ticket across the resale marketplaces it monitors, in U.S. dollars, before fees) every morning at about 9 a.m. ET. The $118 figure is the median of the 211 upcoming 2026 regular-season games with a set date that it tracked on Sept. 13, 2026. TicketScanner tracks a subset of each league’s games, not every game; no Los Angeles Chargers home games are tracked. All Super Bowl and playoff prices here come from the outside sources named.

FAQ
How much are Super Bowl tickets in 2027?
There is no settled price yet. On Sept. 14, 2026, TickPick’s cheapest Super Bowl LXI listing was $5,601, and On Location’s Touchdown Club package listed from $7,650 per person. For context, TicketIQ’s game-day get-in for the last five Super Bowls ranged from $2,803 to $7,852.
What are the cheapest Super Bowl tickets?
The get-in ticket. For Super Bowl LX, that was $3,773 on game day per TicketIQ, or $3,361 for a two-ticket listing at 3 p.m. ET per TicketData. Face values start lower ($950 for Super Bowl LX), but only about 11,520 face-value tickets reached fans, mostly through team lotteries.
Why are Super Bowl tickets so expensive?
One game, about 70,000 seats and only about 11,520 face-value tickets for fans (Super Bowl LX figures). The league office, sponsors, partners and hospitality packages absorb much of the rest, and two fan bases have only two weeks to buy.
When is the cheapest time to buy Super Bowl tickets?
From 2022 to 2026, the get-in price peaked on Championship Sunday or within five days of it, and the low came in the final four days, counting game day, in four of five years. Game day was higher than the low in four of five years, so waiting until Sunday has not been reliably cheaper.
How much are NFL playoff tickets?
In the 2025-26 postseason, reported get-in prices ran about $150 to $450 in the wild-card round, about $263 to $556 in the divisional round and $594 to $888 for the conference championships, depending on the game, source and date.
