by TicketScanner Team

Check today’s get-in prices for the NFL games TicketScanner tracks on TicketScanner’s NFL page.

Key Takeaways

  • The median get-in price for an upcoming 2026 NFL regular-season game is $118, according to TicketScanner’s Sept. 13, 2026 snapshot of the 211 games with a set date that it tracks. Half of those games sit between $73 and $201.
  • Sunday 1 p.m. games had a $95 median get-in. Every other kickoff window ran $141 or more, including $156 for Sunday late afternoon and about $158 for Sunday and Monday night.
  • The most expensive upcoming game is Bears at Packers on Oct. 11 at $602 just to get in. The cheapest is Colts at Browns on Jan. 3, 2027 at $21.
  • The get-in price is before fees. A federal rule in effect since May 12, 2025 requires sellers to show the total price including mandatory fees up front.

How much are NFL tickets? The short answer

The median get-in price for a 2026 NFL game is $118. That figure covers the 211 upcoming regular-season games with a set date that TicketScanner tracks (daily price tracking, snapshot Sept. 13, 2026). Half of all games have a get-in price between $73 and $201, and 90% are at or below $292.

Why “average” NFL ticket prices look higher elsewhere

TicketScanner’s get-in price is the cheapest listed ticket for each game across the resale marketplaces it monitors, before fees. Other sources report average ticket prices instead, which mix in lower-bowl and club seats, or a game-day cost that adds parking, food and drinks, so their numbers run higher. The get-in is the cheapest listed ticket price.

  • TickPick data reported in August put the Buffalo Bills at a league-high $610 average ticket price for 2026, with the Philadelphia Eagles second at $473.
  • In May, Gametime data ranked Lions at Bills and Bears at Packers as the season’s two most expensive games, with get-ins (its measure of the lowest total cost to attend) of $604 and $531 and medians of $1,230 and $1,025. A typical seat cost about twice the cheapest one.
  • Bookies.com’s 2026 NFL Game Cost tracker, as reported Sept. 1, 2026, put the league-average cost for a family of four at $733.80, covering four tickets (the cheapest block of four, averaged across each team’s home schedule), parking, food and drinks. It ranged from $251.09 in Cleveland to $1,799.23 in Buffalo.

The long-running face-value benchmark, Team Marketing Report’s Fan Cost Index, did not publish a 2025 edition, according to FinanceBuzz.

NFL ticket prices 2026: how the 211 games break down

Source: TicketScanner daily price tracking, snapshot Sept. 13, 2026 (the 211 upcoming games with a set date that TicketScanner tracks).

Get-in price band Share of games What these games tend to look like
Under $50 13% Late-season Sunday 1 p.m. games hosted by teams that struggled in 2025
$50-$99 28% Ordinary Sunday 1 p.m. games (the Sunday 1 p.m. median is $95)
$100-$199 34% The middle of the market, where the median late-afternoon and prime-time games land
$200-$299 16% Mixed; no single pattern in the games listed below
$300 and up 9% Rivalries, a holiday game and a new stadium’s first regular-season game

About four in 10 games start under $100, and one in four at $200 or more. The right-hand column draws on the kickoff-window medians and the sample games listed below; it is a pattern, not a rule.

NFL ticket prices by team: the 5 most and least expensive

Grouped by home team, using the median get-in of each team’s upcoming tracked home games (TicketScanner daily price tracking, snapshot Sept. 13, 2026):

Most expensive home teams:

Cheapest home teams:

The Bills’ median get-in is about 12 times the Browns’. For all 31 tracked teams, see our team-by-team NFL ranking, which uses the same Sept. 13, 2026 snapshot.

Sunday 1 p.m. vs. later kickoffs: NFL ticket prices by kickoff window

Source: TicketScanner daily price tracking, snapshot Sept. 13, 2026. Times are Eastern.

Kickoff window (ET) Games Median get-in 25th percentile 75th percentile
Sunday 1 p.m. 112 $95 $57 $149
Sunday late afternoon (4:05/4:25) 45 $156 $84 $210
Sunday Night Football 14 $158 $101 $249
Monday Night Football 16 $158 $108 $239
Thursday Night Football 17 $141 $77 $254
Saturday (late season) 2 $271 n/a (tiny sample) n/a
Friday 4 $248 n/a (includes the Christmas Day game) n/a

The Sunday 1 p.m. window holds more than half the schedule, and its $95 median is the lowest of any slot. Sunday and Monday night games sit at about $158, roughly 66% higher, but the late-afternoon Sunday window is almost the same at $156. So the jump is not about prime time alone: every window other than Sunday 1 p.m. had a median of $141 or more.

Thursday night has the widest spread ($77 to $254, 25th to 75th percentile). The Saturday and Friday rows cover just six games.

Our read is that matchups matter more than the clock: the later Sunday and national TV windows tend to carry games with broader appeal.

The most expensive NFL tickets in 2026 so far

The eight priciest upcoming games by get-in price on Sept. 13, 2026, per TicketScanner’s daily price tracking:

  1. Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers, Sun. Oct. 11, 4:25 p.m.: $602
  2. Las Vegas Raiders at San Francisco 49ers, Sun. Nov. 8, 4:05 p.m.: $473
  3. Dallas Cowboys at Green Bay Packers, Sun. Oct. 18, 8:20 p.m. (SNF): $397
  4. Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears, Fri. Dec. 25, 1 p.m. (Christmas): $393
  5. Detroit Lions at Buffalo Bills, Thu. Sept. 17, 8:15 p.m. (TNF): $380
  6. Philadelphia Eagles at Chicago Bears, Mon. Sept. 28, 8:15 p.m. (MNF): $374
  7. New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills, Sun. Oct. 4, 1 p.m.: $369
  8. Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears, Sun. Sept. 20, 1 p.m.: $354

Rivalry sits at the top. Bears-Packers is the NFL’s most-played matchup, with 213 meetings, and Chicago beat Green Bay in the NFC wild-card round in January, its first playoff win over the Packers since 1941. The two teams appear in five of the eight games above, including the Christmas Day rematch.

The teams’ infrequent regular-season meetings may help explain No. 2: the former Bay Area neighbors (the Raiders moved to Las Vegas in 2020) meet in the regular season only once every four years.

In Buffalo, the draw is a new building: Lions at Bills is the Bills’ first regular-season game at the new Highmark Stadium.

Team performance also contributes. The Patriots went 14-3 and won the AFC in 2025, the Bills went 12-5, and the Bears and Eagles both finished 11-6. Three of the eight games kick off at 1 p.m., so a strong matchup outweighs a cheap time slot. More on the causes: why NFL tickets are so expensive.

The cheapest NFL games on the 2026 schedule

The six cheapest upcoming games on Sept. 13, 2026, per TicketScanner’s daily price tracking:

  • Indianapolis Colts at Cleveland Browns, Sun. Jan. 3, 2027, 1 p.m.: $21
  • Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans, Sun. Dec. 20, 1 p.m.: $23
  • Atlanta Falcons at Cleveland Browns, Sun. Dec. 13, 1 p.m.: $24
  • Las Vegas Raiders at Cleveland Browns, Sun. Nov. 29, 1 p.m.: $24
  • New York Jets at Arizona Cardinals, Sun. Dec. 20, 4:05 p.m.: $25
  • Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans, Sun. Nov. 15, 1 p.m.: $25

Five of the six kick off at 1 p.m., all are between Nov. 15 and Jan. 3, and five are hosted by the Browns (5-12 in 2025) or the Titans (3-14). Jets at Cardinals pairs two teams that both went 3-14.

The home team matters more than the visitor: the Jaguars went 13-4 last season, and their trip to Nashville still starts at $25.

Get-in price vs. what you actually pay

TicketScanner records prices before fees, so the checkout number will be higher. A 2018 Government Accountability Office report found that in a sample of events, total fees averaged 27% of the ticket price on primary sites and 31% on resale sites. The GAO said the sample was not generalizable, so treat it as a rough guide: a 31% markup would bring a $118 listing to about $155 before taxes.

The FTC’s Rule on Unfair or Deceptive Fees, in effect since May 12, 2025, applies to businesses that offer or advertise live-event tickets, including resale platforms, and requires the total price including mandatory fees to be disclosed up front, more prominently than other pricing information. Taxes, government charges and shipping may be left out of that total. The rule does not cap or ban any fee. In practice, compare get-in prices across sites, then check the total before you pay.

How much are NFL season tickets? PSLs and 2026 price increases

Teams set their own season-ticket prices, and many raised them for 2026. The Bears play nine regular-season home games plus one preseason game in 2026, and their season-ticket prices rose an average of 13.5%. Other 2026 examples:

  • New York Jets: prices rose 3.5% overall. About 56% of seats went up $5 to $10 per game, and some of the cheapest sections, in the upper deck and lower end zone, did not change.
  • Carolina Panthers: a 12% blended increase, after 4% in 2024 and 6% in 2025.
  • Buffalo Bills: at the new Highmark Stadium, personal seat licenses (PSLs), which buy the right to purchase season tickets, cost $750 to $50,000 per seat and are sold out. CNN reported one fan’s club seats went from $4,300 each to $8,610.

According to CNN, NFL teams with new stadiums have used PSLs since the Panthers introduced them in 1996.

How much are NFL playoff tickets and the Super Bowl?

From last season’s reporting (TicketScanner’s snapshot covers regular-season games only):

  • Wild-card round: for the Rams at Panthers game on Jan. 10, 2026, the cheapest resale listings were about $150 to $200 the day before the game, before service fees and taxes, WRAL reported.
  • Divisional round: starting prices for the Jan. 17-18 games ranged from roughly $200-$265 (Texans at Patriots) to $400-$550 (49ers at Seahawks), depending on the listing, according to Goal.com.
  • Super Bowl LX: on game day, Feb. 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium, the average resale price was $8,131.98 and the cheapest ticket was $4,951, per TicketIQ data reported by KTVU.

How to pay less for NFL tickets

Pick a Sunday 1 p.m. game: a $95 median get-in against $156 for late Sunday afternoon and about $158 for Sunday and Monday night, per TicketScanner’s Sept. 13 snapshot.

Pick a cheaper home team: the Browns ($28) and Titans ($31) have the lowest home medians. The six cheapest games in the snapshot all fell in November, December or early January, so late-season dates are worth checking.

Watch the price before you buy: in Week 1 (13 games, a small sample), the median get-in rose from $170 at 60+ days out to $203 in the month before kickoff, then fell to $128 on game day (more in do tickets get cheaper closer to the game).

How TicketScanner measured this

TicketScanner records each tracked game’s get-in price every morning at about 9 a.m. ET (the cheapest listed ticket across the resale marketplaces it monitors, in U.S. dollars, before fees). This article uses the Sept. 13, 2026 snapshot of the 211 upcoming regular-season games with a set date that TicketScanner tracks, across 31 home teams. TicketScanner tracks a subset of each league’s games, not every game on the schedule; for the NFL, no Los Angeles Chargers home games are tracked. Games listed as “Date TBD” and preseason games are excluded. Results describe the games TicketScanner tracks, and prices move daily.
